One particular aspect that we think is so great about FIELDGUIDES' family style format is that it allows and encourages chaperones to be involved in their children's education and development. Not to mention it can be a whole lot of fun for the "big kids" too.
-"My son and I really had a great time. The program and the experience was not only informative but fun. I particularly enjoyed the panning, the "diggin's" themselves and the "solitude walk" to Blair Lake. I know the kids also enjoyed the food, the town and the sing-a-longs as well. Speaking of sing-a-longs, here are the promised additional (and long forgotten lyrics) lyrics to Clementine, as recalled from my 3rd grade songbook: |
