Spring break has always been a great time to spend a week outside and reset for the finishing months of the school year. With all the isolation and digital overload of the last couple of years, getting outside and connecting with peers is more important than ever for our overall wellbeing. Our spring break backpacking trips will have a major emphasis on FUN and an intentional awareness towards reconnecting with ourselves, our peers, and with the regenerating powers of nature.
This years trip will be a 3 night/4 day backpacking trek along the gorgeous Pt. Reyes National Seashore! We are offering transportation for $75 from Ashland, Oregon for this year's trip to help Northern California/Southern Oregon folks join us! Participants will hike along beautiful coastline with expansive views, play on soft sand beaches, explore coastal scrubland and bishop pine forests, and even have a chance to visit an oceanside waterfall! Complete with freshwater lakes and saltwater spray there is no shortage of nature to enjoy and explore. |

Henry Coe's rugged oak covered hills and expansive wildflower rich meadows evoke feelings of being fully immersed in nature. Adventuring deep into the park and far away from crowds we will stretch our muscles, rewire our brains, and remind ourselves what it feels like to spend quality time connecting with ourselves and with others. Trips will focus on building confidence in spending time outdoors through learning about backpacking safely and how to live life out on the trail. While resetting ourselves we will also set aside time for building strong connections between all participants on the hikes, ones built to last long after the trip ends. Let us know if you're interested in a backpacking trip in Henry W. Coe State Park!
