Camp Life at Toro County Park

Toro County Park rests on an ancient sandstone seabed, located a short drive outside of the city of Monterey. The Youth Over Night Area is in a secluded corner of the park, with a full kitchen, showers, and its own private lake. The surrounding oak-chaparral woodlands and lake bring wildlife close to the program and seeing deer, quail, ducks, egrets, herons, and wild turkeys are a common occurrence at the campsite. The park offers miles of diverse hiking trails for an in depth exploration of the local ecosystem. For park specifics go to the Monterey County Toro Park website.
